GS FL™ Technology

The GS FL™ is designed for use on T8 fluorescent lamps driven by electronic instant start ballast, including universal supply voltage, dedicated voltage, passive power factor correction, and active power factor correction instant start ballast. Furthermore, it is compatible with GE UltraMax® ballast and Advance Intellivolt ® technology.

Highly innovative and efficient (>0.99) it allows reducing the energy consumption of T8 fluorescent lighting while maintaining visible light quality and power quality. Easily installed on each fixture with a simple and quick wiring connection, the GS FL™ is wired between the electronic ballast and the lamps.

The GS FL™ and the instant start ballast operate as two independent devices working in synergy within the lighting fixture and allowing the lamps to start up naturally under ballast control and to reduce energy consumption under GS FL™ control.

Typical energy saving achieved are 15% - 35%. The GS FL™ has manual power setting adjustment capabilities, which allow the installer to adjust the saving level with ease to match light quality and energy saving requirements for maximum performance.
